15th June 2013 - SW Schools Champs results now available here - well done to all the TAC athletes, any news or pictures gratefully received....email me
2nd June - Patrick Casey did the club proud by taking part in the Comrades Marathon, with temperatures slightly more than we were all experiencing !

From Patrick.......’I'm now back in the UK from South Africa and, as I was privileged to be able to wear a TAC vest for the event, I thought I should let you know how the 2013 Comrades Marathon went for me on Sunday 2nd June. According to the official results (subject to confirmation) at http://results.comrades.com/, I finished the 86.86km course (54 miles) in 2,251st place and in a time of 9hrs 27mins 31secs. This was almost 30 minutes slower than my target time but, in the context of the event, I was quite happy with the outcome. With temperatures of 30C+, it was the hottest, windiest race for years and only 10,188 runners, of the 14,000 or so that started, managed to finish the uphill course within the 12 hours allowed. The event was won in 5hrs 32mins 09secs by Claude Moshiywa of South Africa.’
12 May 2013 Well done all TAC athletes helping us to win the first SWAL Div1 Match 1 of the season. Results available now on Swathletics site for download . All athletes please let your SWAL team managers know whether you are available for selection for Match 2 on July 7th Exeter.
